On 28 April, the Supervision Committee of Latvijas Banka decided to issue a licence to pinyya invest for the provision of investment services and ancillary investment services.

The company has obtained a licence to provide the following investment services:

- the execution of orders on behalf of customers,

- the placing of financial instruments without a firm commitment basis.

In addition, the licence authorises pinyya invest to provide the following ancillary investment services:

- the holding of financial instruments,

- the provision of services related to the initial allocation of financial instruments.

The company is part of the pinyya GmbH (Austria) group, which has developed the Aligned Ownership model to support apartment purchases for individuals in major European cities, while giving investors exposure to underlying residential properties through regulated securities.

Currently, an operating licence has been granted to 11 investment firms.
