Changes have been made in the management of Latvian ammunition manufacturer SIA Ammunity – as of 1 June, Kaspars Pollaks, who has extensive experience and knowledge of the defence sector, will assume the duties of Chief Executive Officer. Under K. Pollaks’s leadership, the company will continue moving towards its strategic development goals. At a time when geopolitical uncertainty is increasing and Europe’s defence capabilities are becoming increasingly important, Ammunity continues to strengthen its role as a strategically important company in the defence industry not only in Latvia but also in the Baltic and Nordic region as a whole.
Kaspars Pollaks’s extensive experience and in-depth understanding of the sector’s needs closely align with the company’s long-term vision and ambitions. Since August 2025, K. Pollaks has also been chairman of the board of the MilTech association.
The company thanks former CEO Beāte Krauze-Čebotare for her contribution to the company’s growth and development. She will continue to work with the company during the transition period, ensuring continuity of knowledge and expertise.
“We already hold a strong position in our segment, while also seeing significant opportunities for future development under Kaspars’s leadership. We are confident that his knowledge and experience will contribute to the company’s growth,” says Martin Elovsson, executive director of Swedish defence and security company Scandinavian Astor Group.
“Kaspars is a trustworthy leader with experience, discipline and a strategic perspective – exactly what is needed to successfully guide the company’s development, creating significant added value for the sector as a whole. I am confident that under his leadership the company will strengthen its position in the region,” says Beāte Krauze-Čebotare.
“I am honoured to take on this responsibility and to work with our team, partners and customers on the company’s continued development. The company already has a strong foundation, and our future priorities are quality, increasing production capacity and strengthening cooperation with the end user,” emphasises Kaspars Pollaks.
