TALLINN - A Friday price comparison by Circle K in the Baltic capitals reveals that for the third week in a row, fuel prices have risen in Tallinn, Riga, and Vilnius.
In Tallinn, gasoline prices rose by 4.5 cents and the price of diesel by 6 cents over the week. In Riga, gasoline cost 8 cents more and diesel 5 cents more than last Friday. In Vilnius, gasoline prices increased by 6.6 cents, while the price of diesel grew by 12.5 cents.
On Friday, 95 miles gasoline cost 1.784 euros in the Estonian capital, 1 cent less than in Riga and 3.1 cents less than in Vilnius. The price of 98 miles plus gasoline in Tallinn was 1.844 euros, 2 cents cheaper than in Riga and 0.8 cents lower than in Vilnius.
The price of diesel fuel in Tallinn was 1.919 euros, which was 9.5 cents cheaper than in Riga and 20 cents cheaper than in Vilnius.
