TALLINN - Fourteen Estonian companies are participating in the Gastro Helsinki fair, which showcases the food, hotel, and restaurant industries, taking place on Wednesday and Thursday at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre. The Estonians have a joint stand at the fair, making them the largest foreign participating country.

The focus for the Estonian companies at the fair is to find new business partners, expand their network, and promote the sale of their products on the Finnish market.

"Gastro Helsinki is the longest-running and most renowned professional event for the catering, hotel, and restaurant sectors in Finland, providing an overview of happenings, trends, and flavor preferences in our northern neighbor's market," explains Tiit Sarv, the Estonian representative for the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.

According to him, Estonian companies have been participating in the Gastro Helsinki fair for nearly two decades, which clearly demonstrates how valuable the platform is considered for finding new partners and entering the Finnish market. "The fair also has a distinguished history, first held in 1994. This event, showcasing developments in the Finnish food service industry, offers an excellent opportunity to discover fresh ideas, innovative solutions, and establish business contacts. We are here to present our new products and solutions and to spark interest among our northern neighbors."
