Today, on 14 November, the energy commodities trader and convenience store network AS VIRŠI-A (hereinafter – “Virši”) opened its first full-service facility in Kuldīga, located at 20 Zirņu Street. With an investment of EUR 1.6 million, the Company has developed a 3,300 m² site, ensuring outstanding comfort and top-level services for its customers.
The location will be open 24 hours a day, offering a 90.6 m² store, a comfortable indoor and outdoor seating area, as well as fuel and electric vehicle (EV) charging for two vehicles simultaneously. The premises feature a spacious car park accommodating up to 15 cars and two lorries.
“We are delighted to expand our network with a new service station in the beautiful town of Kuldīga. This is our second station built this year and already the 84th in the Virši network. The Kuldīga service station is strategically important to us, as we had not been represented in this area before. With this opening, we can further strengthen our market share and offer excellent service and a pleasant customer experience across a wider geography,” said Jānis Vība, Chairman of the Board of “Virši”.
For convenient access, the service station provides entry and exit lanes in both directions – one entrance and one exit and is located next to a roundabout, ensuring smooth and safe traffic flow.
The new Virši Kuldīga service station offers automated refuelling with the most popular fuel types – 95 and 98 petrol, diesel, AdBlue, as well as screen wash available on tap. For EV owners, a 200 kW charging unit has been installed, allowing two cars to charge simultaneously – one connector provides up to 160 kW, and the other up to 40 kW.
